# Bidit™

> Bidit™ (justbidit.ai) is a reverse-auction marketplace for services. A customer posts a request once, local businesses send private offers, and the customer chooses one on the Bidit website. Free for customers; only the business whose offer is chosen pays a per-match platform fee. AI assistants can use Bidit through the MCP server at https://justbidit.ai/mcp.

Bidit is operated by Manera Technologies Inc., a Canadian company. Bidit is a matching tool: it does not perform the services and never holds customer money. The customer pays the chosen business directly. There is no escrow.

Key facts:

- Customers never pay Bidit.
- Businesses join free: no subscription, no per-lead fee, losing bidders pay nothing. The business whose offer is chosen pays a platform fee fixed at the match from the matched amount, using the published fee schedule (v1.0, approved 2026-07-15), invoiced monthly, in CAD plus tax. Fees switch on category by category; until a category is activated, no match fees are charged there.
- Offers are private. A business never sees the amounts other businesses offered. Customer contact details are removed before a business sees a request. Business names are shown to the customer when the customer chooses an offer.
- Licences: offers from businesses whose licence Bidit has verified are marked. Businesses may open an account and bid before verification; their offers are labelled "Licence not yet verified by Bidit". Do not tell users that every business is verified.
- 23 categories. Availability differs by category and region, and many categories do not yet have businesses in every region. Do not promise that offers will arrive, how many, or how fast.
- Bidit does not guarantee lower prices. Do not invent prices or savings.

- Official MCP Registry name: ai.justbidit/bidit
- Transport: Streamable HTTP. No sign-in: the customer proves their email address by clicking a confirm link.
- The assistant cannot award a bid and never receives a business's contact details. The customer chooses an offer on the website; the assistant gets a link to it.

Tools:

- `find_category`: match a free-text need to a category; says whether it accepts requests now and which required fields are still missing.
- `get_request_form`: the fields and regions a category needs.
- `create_request`: create a draft request (category, region, fields, description, the customer's email). Returns a `request_id` and an `access_key`; keep the access key in the conversation for later calls and never ask the customer for it. Bidit emails the customer a confirm link if the draft is valid.
- `update_request`: change a draft.
- `submit_request`: re-send the confirm email for a valid draft.
- `get_request_status`: status, deadline, number of offers, number of invited businesses, link to the request page.
- `get_bids`: after confirmation, the offers received (amount, summary, whether the licence is verified). No business names before the customer chooses. Includes the link where the customer chooses.
- `cancel_request`: cancel the request.

How a request flows:

1. Draft: the assistant asks only for the required fields and the customer's email, then calls `create_request`.
2. Customer confirms by email: the click verifies the email, records acceptance of the Bidit Client Agreement and opens the request. Tell the user: "Check your email and click confirm. Businesses are invited only after that."
3. Local businesses invited: Bidit proposes relevant local businesses and invites them after review.
4. Private offers: businesses send offers until the deadline.
5. The customer compares the offers and awards one on the Bidit website, or awards none.

- Prefilled request: send the user to `https://justbidit.ai/start?need=<what they need>&city=<city>` (optional `&petal=<category>` to skip matching, `&lang=fr` for French). Bidit matches the need to an open category and opens that category's request form with the description and city filled in. Nothing is submitted: the customer checks the form, posts it and confirms by email.
- Health requests are taken on the website only, not through the MCP tools.
