Why Bidit: free for you, and your request stays private until you choose
You describe what you need once. Businesses in your area send you private offers. You choose one on the Bidit website, or none. It's free for you.
Who pays, and when
- Customers never pay Bidit. You pay the business you choose directly, for the work you agree with it; Bidit never holds your money.
- In open categories, a per-job fee is owed only by the business whose offer you accept: one flat fee, set by the published fee schedule and shown to the business before it makes its offer. Bidit charges no fee for an offer you don't accept.
- In regulated professions (accounting, finance, health, insurance, legal, notary and real-estate brokerage (mandates)), businesses pay a flat monthly subscription instead, never a per-job fee.
Compared with pay-per-lead sites
Some sites charge businesses for every lead, whether or not they win the job. On Bidit, in open categories, there is no per-lead fee: a business pays a per-job fee only if you accept its offer.
Private until you choose
- Offers are private: a business sees only the amount of its own offer, never what the others offered.
- Business names are hidden until you choose: offers appear as "Bid #1", "Bid #2" and so on. You compare offers, not brands.
- Your name, email, phone number and address are not shown to businesses before you choose. Only the business you choose receives your contact details.
- A request sent by an AI assistant goes to businesses only after you confirm it by email.
In regulated professions
In accounting, finance, health, real estate, insurance, legal and notary, Bidit does not recommend an offer: offers are listed from lowest to highest price, and the choice is yours.
In regulated professions (accounting, finance, health, insurance, legal, notary and real-estate brokerage (mandates)), businesses pay a flat monthly subscription instead, never a per-job fee.
Licences: what Bidit checks, and what it doesn't
Every offer carries one of three labels: "Licence verified" (Bidit has verified it), "Licence not yet verified by Bidit" or "No licence number provided". A business can make an offer before Bidit has verified it, so read the label before you choose.
Bidit does not verify every business and is not a licensing authority. Check the licence yourself before you hire.
How it works
- Describe what you need once. It's free.
- Bidit sends your request to businesses registered for the category and your area, and may invite other local businesses. A request sent by an AI assistant goes out only after you confirm it by email.
- Businesses send private offers until the deadline. Your contact details are removed from what they see.
- You compare the offers and choose one on the Bidit website, or none.
Bidit cannot promise that offers will arrive or how many, and does not guarantee a lower price. Availability differs by category and region.
